About Dr. Feldman

Imagine if it didn’t take weeks, months or years to heal, but thru self sensing, change would be automatic – you could feel the change in yourself, in your body, in your movements right away.

My mission is to WAKE up people to their Alive Center; to the part of themselves that can FEEL from the inside out, from an embodied place, right here, right now.

I strive to be a 100% open and I welcome questions and honest conversation, so you’re not wasting your time and money or setting yourself up for unrealistic expectations.

Dr. Feldman has been in practice for over 35 years. In addition to Chiropractic, Dr. Feldman studied personally with Dr. Feldenkrais in the 2nd North American Feldenkrais® training program from 1980-1983.

A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Feldman earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 1978. Following that; Dr. Feldman was a table trainer for the Upledger Institute in Craniosacral Therapy, and is an assistant trainer in the Feldenkrais Method®. He has updated his learning by auditing the 2nd NYC Feldenkrais Professional Training Program, completing the 4-year program in April, 2009. In addition, he has studied with renowned Osteopathic teachers, John Upledger, Steven Sanet and Franklin Sills.

Dr. Feldman completed a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Foundation training and is now certified as an RCST (Registered Craniosacral Therapist). This was a 2 1/4-year certification program with one of the pioneers in the field, Franklin Sills, D.O. graduating in January, 2011.

In May of 2014, Dr. Feldman completed Advanced Clinical Training in Nutrition Response Testing (NRT). NRT practitioners provide nutritional dietary advice and work with patients to make specific changes to diet, eating habits and utilize whole food supplements to bring about the best possible results.

Recently, Dr.Feldman added the work of Dr.Stephen Porges, “Polyvagal Theory” and the “Safe &. Sound Protocol” to enhance brain function and optimize self regulation of the Autonomic Nervous System.

A fine artist working in pastels, he is also an avid tennis player, golfer and swimmer; as well as a practitioner of Tai-Chi Chuan and QiGong for many years.

Recently he has traveled to the jungles of Peru to study plant medicine and explored the natural beauty of Costa Rica.

How I’ve Helped Others

Allow me to tell you the story of Lonnie, a young woman I treated while working in Boston in the late 1980’s. A woman that typifies the story of many who undergo a concussion from a mid-air collision in sports, a car accident, or any trauma and remain incapacitated, because nobody really understands or knows how to deal with it. People who fall through the cracks, because the symptoms don’t show up in an obvious way on an x-ray or MRI or standard diagnostic testing. Because the insult is deep in the Cranium, at the core of the Central Nervous System, which isn’t visible or the mechanisms of it’s functioning, entirely understood. (Note-newer, more sophisticated brain imaging today will reveal an abnormality in the brain). Though treatment options remain limited.

My Story – The Healing Gift of a Car Accident

Trauma is a quick agent for change. What seemed like a devastating accident turned out to be a catalyst for profound healing and change in my life. This story is about how I found healing, and how this same healing is available to you, no matter what kind of physical stress you are dealing with.
