Healthy Eating this Holiday Season

With Christmas just around the corner, we’re here to help you stay on track with your healthy eating this holiday season. Follow these tips to keep a balanced plate and avoid over-eating eating:

– Try bringing your own separate side dish of mixed roasted vegetables to keep your antioxidants up in order to counteract some of those traditional high calorie foods.

Feel free to modify this recipe by adding your favorite vegetables.
– Remember to select a variety of colors and most importantly GREEN LEAFY vegetables!
– Proportions! Proportions! Proportions! Your plate should be two thirds vegetables! Also, try having a small bowl of mixed fruits for dessert.
